Salman Khan-starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is all set to release on April 21 and the film is in the news, more so after the trailer was released on Monday, April 10. In a unique strategy, the first song of the film “Naiyo Lagda” was released way back on February 14th. The track became a huge hit and the makers then released “Billy Billy”. This followed “Jee Rahe The Hum”, ‘Bathukamma’ and ‘Yentamma’. And that’s not all. During the trailer launch, singer Sukhbir revealed that he has worked on one more song “Billy Billy” for this movie. It is said ‘Ball Ball’ and will be the next song to be released.
Bollywood Hungama he has learned it Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has up to 8 tracks in the film. In today’s age when filmmakers prefer not to have more than 3-4 songs or even for a film without songs, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is a rare exception.
Bollywood Hungama spoke exclusively to director Farhad Samji about this aspect and how easy or difficult it was for him to incorporate so many songs into the script and ensure that justice is done to each of them.
Farhad Samji said, “Out of 8, 5 of them are full songs. But 3 of them go according to history. We can’t even process them as the story moves during these songs. Hence, aap piercing film dehoge, toh apko aisa nahin lagega ki apne 8 gaane dekh liye. Of course, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan it’s definitely a musical film.”
Farhad Samji further said, “The next song to be released is ‘Ball Ball’, by Sukhbir. Even this part will advance the story. We are sure that it will keep the audience.”
While “Naiyo Lagda” composed by Himesh Reshammiya, “Jee Rahe The Hum” is an Amaal Malik composition. “Billy Billy” and ‘Ball Ball’ both are by Sukhbir. Southern sensation Ravi Basrur has composed ‘Bathukamma’ and ‘Yentamma’ it is by Payal Dev. His credits Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan I also mention Devi Sri Prasad and Sajid Khan (of Sajid-Wajid fame) and they have composed the last two songs of the film.
