You can spot the filming locations of Burlington is Dream Scenario starring Nicholas Cage
Nicolas Cage’s career has had its ups and downs, but a film shot in and around Toronto, including Burlington, put the American actor back on top.
The cage is the star A dream scenarioa dark comedy that premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this year and opened for wide distribution last weekend.
Already earning a 92 percent positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes, Cage is winning praise for his typically quirky portrayal of the character, which is supported by Burlington actress Jessica Clements who plays his daughter
Clement hosted a screening of the film last Friday (November 17) at SilverCity Burlington Cinema where she participated in a question and answer session with fans about the film and her career.
Russell Williams Restaurant on Plains Rd. it appears in the film as do some local houses that were used for interior scenes.
Clement commented that it was “a thrill” to work with Cage, and he believes A dream scenario is a film that will connect with the audience.
