1. Bang Bang
Bang Bang starring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif was a commercial success and at the time it was released it became one of the highest grossing Indian films of all time. The film is a remake of the Hollywood movie knight and day starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz in the lead roles.
2. Chachi 420
Starring Kamal Hassan Chachi 420 is a cult classic film and is considered one of the best comedies in Bollywood. The film is a remake of Robin Williams Mrs. Daubtfeir, which was both commercially and critically acclaimed. The film follows a newly divorced man who dresses as a housekeeper so he can interact with his children.
3. Hum Tum
Hm Tum starring Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee is loosely based on the iconic romantic comedy When Harry met Sally starring Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan. Hm Tum was a critical and commercial success and also won many awards with Saif Ali Khan winning the National Film Award for Best Actor.
4. Deal Behara
Deal Behara starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi is an official Hindi remake of the Hollywood movie The error in our stars. The films were based on the novel of the same name by John Green. Deal Behara marks Sushant’s latest film as it was released posthumously.
5. The girl on the train
Parineeti Chopra-protagonist The girl on the train is an official remake of the Hollywood movie of the same name, based on the novel by Paula Hawkins. Starring Emily Blunt in the English version, Chopra received praise for her portrayal of an alcoholic and troubled divorcee involved in a murder investigation.
6. The trainee
Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan will soon be seen in the Hindi remake of the Hollywood movie The trainee, the film will mark their reunion after their film Peak. The original film starred Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway. The role was initially offered to Rishi Kapoor, but after he died, Bachchan was called in to replace him.
