Actress Alia Bhatt is ready for the release of her film Gangubai Kathiawadi. The film took almost two years to complete and is set to hit theaters on February 25, 2022. Prior to its release in cinemas, the film will also premiere at the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival or, Berlinale 2022. The actress hopes to receive awards for her film that will be released soon.
Prior to the film’s release, Alia Bhatt made her full-fledged promotions. During the promotions on February 12, 2022, the actress interacted with the press and remembered an interesting incident that took place during the shooting of the film.
During the interaction, the actress was asked what advice she received from her friends Deepika Padukone and Ranveer who had previously worked with the film’s director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Responding to this, Alia said, “There is this thing that makes people what advice you got and what pranks you played. There have been rumors that people are playing tips and pranks on the set of a movie. None of this has happened. It does not happen as if I start a movie, give me advice, it happens during every conversation “.
Later, the actress remembered an incident when she was with Deepika Padukone in Bastian for her birthday. Alia said, “I remember it was Deepika’s birthday and we went to Bastian (a restaurant in Bandra, Mumbai) for her birthday, I was shooting for Gangubai at that time. So I was like I had to leave and they asked me why I’m doing it I want to leave I told them I have a schedule at 5 in the morning So they asked me what you’re shooting, I said I’re shooting with Sir (Sanjay Leela Bhansali) and I’m having a great speech She said ok goodbye and you need the energy you for your boss “.
Viacom18 Studios & Paramount Pictures International will distribute Gangubai Kathiawadi in all international markets except India. Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Dr. Jayantilal Gada (Pen Studios), the film is set to hit theaters on February 25, 2022.
