Guardians of the Galaxy Fans are not happy about a certain absence in the new film.
Earlier this month, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 released in cinemas – and its 600 editions – giving fans the latest adventure for Peter Quill and Chris Pratt’s company.
The entire cast is back with Pratt, including Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper and Sean Gunn, who provide voice and motion capture for Rocket Raccoon.
While the film directed by James Gunn was mainly praised by critics and the public, there are many fans of the franchise who express disapproval that the film does not use the main theme of Tyler Bates that appears in the first two films.
“My only major complaint with Guardians 3 is that basically everything I feared with Tyler Bates not coming back came true,” one viewer wrote, while another added: “The score for gotg3 is probably my only real complaint ie. nobody does it like tyler bates… the score for Guardians 1 it’s probably one of the most memorable and iconic mcu scores in my mind.”
One fan said the score was “very lost”, with writer Houston Colley adding: “As much as I loved every other part of the film, it sucks I’m afraid Guardians 3 – that the main theme of Tyler Bates will be lost or underutilized – became a complete reality. I just don’t understand how things like this happen, like dude, just put it out there!’
Somewhere else, Miracle they were fans questioning the film’s age rating because of some of its “disturbing” content.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 it’s in theaters now.
