The horror genre has been thriving for years now, much to the delight of fans. One of best horror movies to arrive recently was in 2018 Carnival film, which led to two more films being ordered from director David Gordon Green. The trilogy will end with Halloween is overwith Jamie Lee Curtis recently sharing a new image of Laurie Strode and ouch.
The stakes are high for Halloween is over, as it will mark Jamie Lee Curtis’ final performance as franchise hero Laurie Strode. Fans can’t wait to see her and Michael Myers clash as they were kept apart throughout the previous sequel Halloween Kills. Curtis recently celebrated her Instagram Name change with an image from the upcoming slasher, and I really feel for the iconic final girl. Check it out for yourself below,
I’m not sure what Michael Myers has done to Laurie before this picture, but it can’t be anything comfortable. While Jamie Lee Curtis is thrilled to finally have a simpler Instagram username, she certainly chose a hilariously unconventional way to celebrate. But seeing this cryptic image makes me even more excited to see a full trailer for Halloween is over.
The above post comes to us from the personal Instagram of Jamie Lee Curtis, which today has a rebranding. Apparently because someone else has created an account in her name, Curtis’ previous handle was @curtisleejamie. But as the actress/philanthropist claims, “Missy Elliott did it” aka turned it around and flipped it. Pretty iconic behavior, methinks.
While this is largely a joke post, it is sure to pique the interest of generations Carnival fans out there. Because while Halloween is over is arriving in theaters and streaming on Peacock, not much content or information has been released. While this helps preserve the content of the upcoming slasher, fans are eager to learn more about Jamie Lee Curtis’ swan song as beloved character Laurie Strode.
After the first footage debuted for those in attendance at CinemaConfans were treated to a brief but exciting teaser for Halloween is over. But the footage was limited, and interspersed with some of the John Carpenter’s 1978 original. You can watch this short clip again below,
While this teaser helps the wait for Halloween is over, didn’t really reveal much about the contents of David Gordon Green’s trickle. There was only a brief appearance by Andi Matichak’s Allyson, and Kyle Richards was completely absent. Therefore, the film can seemingly surprise the audience with its mysterious content.
Halloween is over It is currently slated to hit theaters and air on the Peacock on October 14th. In the meantime, check it out 2022 Movie Release Dates to plan your next cinema experience.
