Empuraan
This is one of the most awaited films of the veteran actor. It is the sequel to the super hit movie ‘Lucifer’ directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. In ‘Lucifer’, the actor played Stephen Nedumpally aka Khureshi Ab’raam. Mohanlal will reprise the role in ‘Empuraan’, which is currently being shot in Thiruvananthapuram.
Baroz
This film marks Mohanlal’s directorial debut and will also star him. The film, which was initially written and conceived by Jijo Punnoose, is currently in the post-production stage. The latest buzz is that the film will hit the theaters on September 12 and is expected to be one of the biggest releases this Onam.
Couch
Mohanlal will play a prominent role in this Telugu film directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and starring Prabhas. While there are no further details about the film, it is said to feature a cast including Vishnu Manchu, Mohan Babu and Dr Shiva Rajkumar among others.
Brusaba
The film directed by Nanda Kishore will have Mohanlal in the lead role. The epic action entertainer is produced by Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, along with Connekkt Media and AVS Studios. The film is expected to release sometime this year.
Mohanlal 360
Mohanlal will reunite with actor-danseuse Shobana after a long time in this Tharun Moorthy-starrer. The news of their reunion had created a lot of joy and excitement among fans with many waiting to catch a glimpse of the evergreen couple. The film is not yet titled.
