Ameesha Patel took a trip to the memory lane and found an invaluable retrospective photo from two decades ago. Ameesha has completed 22 years since the movie Kaho Naa … Pyaar Hai with the old memory, in which her co-star Hrithik Roshan also appears.
In the overturn, Ameesha and Hrithik appear to be riding an amusement park train, sitting in the front row. Both stars of Kaho Naa … Pyaar Hai look dressed in winter clothes. The photo is from the time the film was shot in New Zealand.
“How much time passes .. on the set for Gadar 2 right now and I found this photo of @hrithikroshan and me from our shoot in New Zealand and Kaho Naa … Pyaar Hai turns 22 today,” she wrote Ameesha in her post, adding a tag to Hrithik.
Released in 2000, Kaho Naa … Pyaar Hai marked the Bollywood debut of both Hrithik and Ameesha. The film, starring Hrithik in two roles, was directed by Rakesh Roshan’s father.
Speaking to SpotboyE last year, celebrity photographer Dabboo Ratnani revealed that he was the one who pulled Hrithik’s first portfolio, prompting Rakesh to recommend him to Bollywood: “Hrithik told me that once … And I pulled it Hrithik’s first portfolio, before Kaho Naa … Piar Hai. Got the movie because of my portfolio. His father called me and said “aapki photos dekhi maine (I saw your photos) and I decided to make a movie with my son”.

Ameesha Patel, meanwhile, is currently working on Gadar 2’s filming schedule. Ameesha and Sunny Deol will reprise their roles as Sakeena and Tara Singh from Gadar in the sequel. Utkarsh Sharma, who played Sunny and Ameesha’s son on screen in the first film, will also return for the sequel.
