THE Transformers The franchise returns, albeit with a facelift, as Josh Cooley’s animated sci-fi spectacle Transformers One is gearing up for a September 20, 2024 release.
Based on Hasbro’s toy line of the same name, the action series has always been popular for its innovative marketing techniques, and it seems that Transformers One he does not want to be left behind in this regard. The latest hot movie marketing gimmick is the souvenir popcorn bins you can pick up at the theater.
The upcoming Transformers The film leans into the same tactic, and fans of the film series will enjoy the film with an Optimus Prime popcorn bucket in hand at select theaters. A first look at the themed popcorn bin was revealed in April 2024when Cinemacon’s Instagram uploaded a story that featured some designs of buckets intended for different releases.
In addition to the popcorn bucket, fans will also be able to purchase the Bumblebee commemorative cup, which features a prominent head of the famous Autobot character. The official merchandise release for the film also includes Transformers One figurines, giving people the opportunity to make viewing the action epic an unforgettable experience.
Directed by Cooley from a screenplay by Eric Pearson, the film’s story was written by Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari. The film boasts of a stellar cast, which includes; Avengers Starring Chris Hemsworth and Scarlett Johansson, Brian Tyree Henry, Keegan Michael-Key, Steve Buscemi, Laurence Fishburne, Jon Hamm and Isaac C. Singleton Jr.
The final film in the live-action segment of the film series, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, met with critical and commercial disappointment, failing to make an impression. Paramount has high expectations from Transformers Onewhich will tell the origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, the founders of the franchise’s rival factions, the Autobots and Decepticons.
