Janhvi Kapoor is very busy as she is packed with her promotional schedule for her upcoming film Good Luck Jerry. While the actress is moving from place to place to promote her film, she has made her mark by creating controversies on the back. Recently, the actress came to clear one of her issues when she called to work with brother Arjun Kapoor in a film called ‘nepotism’.
Good Luck Jerry will see Janhvi opposite Deepak Dobriyal, Neeraj Sood, Sushant Singh and many others. The film is slated to release on July 29, 2022 and is directed by Sidharth Sengupta.
According to a video shared on Reddit, during a recent chat with Filmi Mirchi, Janhvi Kapoor took it upon herself to clarify her statements in her previous interviews. The actress had called working with her brother Arjun Kapoor “nepotism” but now claims she mentioned it in a sleepy state. When asked more about it, he said, “I say so much. See that’s the point, what I’m trying to say right now. If I’m on my 20th interview of the day, I tend to talk trash. So I think I was trying to make a joke, it didn’t land very well.”
Continuing the interview, Janhvi Kapoor also spoke about how even with these long working hours she still manages to hit the gym as it makes her feel really good. She said, “I ran out of sleep, I said, ok I’m going to the gym because I have to look fit. I don’t know what I did in the gym because I’m sleepy. I don’t know what I’ve said in any of these interviews because I’m sleepy.”
The actress also hit back at one of her earlier statements about the ‘screwing’ of trolls on social media, who allegedly targeted her sister Khushi Kapoor. It should be noted that Khushi will star in Zoya Akhtar’s next film The Archies. Elaborating on her statement, Janhvi said, “I was getting a lot of passion. What can I do, I can’t go look for them and do something. But it will upset me and upset me more than anyone saying anything about me.”
