Kapoor confessed that she wasn’t sure if she wanted to be part of another remake. She recalled getting a call from her father about the film and asserted, “I said, ‘Dad, I don’t think we should do another remake.’ I just wanted to do something conventional. I had a fever, was holding my pee and was wrapped in it. It was really hard.”

Directed by Mathukutty Xavier, the survival thriller also stars Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa. As mentioned earlier, it is a remake of a Malayalam language film, Helen.
