Everyone has a hero – for some it could be an on-screen character, for some it could be a real-life billionaire, for actress Janhvi Kapoor it’s dad. Not just her father but the fathers of the world. On the occasion of Father’s Day, Janhvi Kapoor wrote a heartfelt note dedicated to all fathers. With her movie Mile All set to premiere on television, the actress noted that the film also has a deep connection with the father-daughter bond.
Reminiscing about her film experience Mile showing a touching father-daughter relationship, Janhvi Kapoor, in her heartfelt note, thanked all the fathers out there for all they do. He addressed the note to “all fathers” and said: “Life is colorful with emotions, some good, some bad and some terrible. However, one sense that protects us from going down is the sense of having a home. And this house is you, Dad.”
He continued, “We often talk about how dads are your biggest cheerleaders. they may not be the strongest but they are the tenacious. While they fiercely protect us from all that is bad in the world, they also mold us to face the realities of life with their tough love. You are the wind beneath our wings, launching pads to our biggest dreams and the strongest shield against all our problems. But you know, you don’t have to be so selfless all the time, right?’
“When I look back on Millie’s journey, her father is her constant and unwavering support that gets her through her toughest times. Behind every wild daughter, there is her father supporting her and we can’t be thankful enough! Proud daughter,” she concluded and signed it as Janhvi Kapoor aka Mili.
Apart from the note, the actress also wished everyone on the occasion saying, “Such is a father’s love, it knows no bounds… A very #HappyFathers Day to all the fathers out there <3 #MiliOnZee Cinema @zeestudiosofficial."
Mile is a survival thriller directed by Mathukutty Xavier and is the official remake of the Malayalam film Helen. The film was released exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar and will premiere on Zee Cinema on Saturday, June 24 at 9:00 PM.
