The film has not only crossed borders domestically booking office but it also made a huge dent globally. ‘Jawan’ is now in its fifth week and the film is still holding strong despite newer releases like Akshay Kumar‘Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue’ and ‘Thank You For Coming’.
In its fifth week, the total of ‘Jawan’s’ global fundThe collection now stands at Rs 1117.36 crore gross. In terms of domestic box office, the film has collected 626.37 crores in India. This total includes ₹566.33 crore from the Hindi release and ₹60.04 crore from the dubbed versions. It fared better in the south than many Hindi films and left everyone stunned. With these numbers from the south, it will be difficult for any film to match the effect of ‘Jawan’ in the south, according to the trade. ‘Jawan’ has now found its place in the top five highest grossing films of all time.
There was an uptick in business this weekend due to the buy one get one free scheme and hence a good number on Saturday and Sunday. Meanwhile, the upcoming Navratri and festive season will further boost his business as he has no major film releases in the coming days, till Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Ganapath: Part 1’ on October 20.
