As seen in the trailer for “Consecration,” the film follows the story of a young woman who ventures to Scotland to investigate the strange, sudden death of her brother, a priest. While there, she hangs out with the local nuns and begins to wonder what’s really going on, as all kinds of creepy things start happening. Nuns saying “peek-a-boo” never sounded worse. As you can imagine, from the fact that this is distributed by IFC Midnight and Shudder“Consecration” is a horror movie, through and through, so you should definitely expect some scary religious stuff throughout the movie.
The film stars Jenna Malone and Danny Huston. “Consecration” is directed by Christopher Smith. The director is perhaps best known for his work on films such as ‘Cut off“, “Black Death,” and “Bypass.” His most recent movie is the 2020 movie, “The exile.”
