Early 2000s kids like myself probably grew up with Lindsay Lohan’s filmography. From Parental trap to Bad Girls to Freaky Friday, these were formative films for me and I’m sure many other Millennials and old Gen-Zs, and the common denominator is Lohan. Now, he is returning to acting is teaming up with Netflix for a holiday romantic comedy. After several years away from the business, she’s talking about getting back into the acting groove and hiring an acting coach for the first time.
Lohan is set to star Fall for Christmas, which will be released near the end of the upcoming film schedule, just in time for the holiday season. He stars alongside her Joy alum Chord Overstreet in the film, and from the trailer, it looks like we’re getting the actress we know and love back on our screens. In a recent interview with THR she discussed meeting Bernard Hiller and said they clicked immediately and hired him to be her acting coach. The actress explained her relationship with him saying:
In the interview, Mr Bad Girls The star noted that the “second” is in hair and makeup, it has character. However, while he immerses himself in the scene, he never sticks to it once the director yells “cut.” He discussed other acting techniques in the interview and what he’s learned from Hiller, noting that he “changed [her] ZOE.”
Only from first look at Lohan’s Christmas movie, looks like he’s in the holiday spirit and having a lot of fun. From the trailer and the download photos Netflix released on Bad Girls day (October 3rd for those who don’t know) The parent trap The actress seems to be really putting these lessons into action. The film looks silly and heartfelt and the actress seems to have fully committed herself to the role. Personally, I can’t wait to see her in action again, and hearing all the work she put into this makes me even more excited.
It looks like this won’t be the last we see of Lohan. She has another rom-com lined up with Netflixcalled Irish wishwhich has the same manager as They fall for Christmas. I love that this early 00’s icon is making a comeback. Learning all the behind-the-scenes work shows how hard he works to improve and has fun with the process. To see Lohan back on screen, you can check out They fall for Christmas on November 10 with a Netflix subscription.
