According to a report in an outlet, Jeo Baby is scheduled to direct the remake in Hindi and Harman Baweja and Vicky Bahri have acquired the rights to it. Many producers were trying to get the rights to the remake. Now, the two producers are going to remake the film, the preparatory work is said to have started and the creators plan to get the work on the floors by mid-2022. The casting is in progress. It will be directed by Arati Kadav, who last had the Netflix prototype, Cargo, which marked his directorial debut.
