National Award-winning director Neeraj Pandey, who is coming out with his new film “Operation Romeo” as a producer, says a film like this that tackles the issue of ethical policing should be promoted in a unique way.

Referring to such an activity for the promotion of his film, when asked how he is involved in the process of creating strategies, Neeraj pointed out why he and his team are always looking for innovative ways to promote a film.

Neeraj told a news agency: “In our movie ‘Operation Romeo’, we have some very good actors, but the protagonist – Sidhant Gupta and Vedika Pinto are newcomers. Of course, Sharad (Kelkar) is a popular name. “The film is an important, memorable and tough story. At a time when star-studded films are ready for release every Friday for release, it’s hard to make a fuss about a film like ours.”

As the film is produced under the Friday Filmworks brand, Neeraj decodes how he chooses a story to produce and direct.

“Not all the films I make, I also direct. I have my own preferences to choose these works. It’s very simple. For example, we decided to do ‘Rustom’ because we were interested in the subject of the film.

“But the way the story required the director, I knew I was not the right person for it. You see, the director’s voice is reflected in a movie. So when I’m directing a movie or creating a show like ‘Special Ops or’ A Wednesday!” “I express my voice through it as a narrator,” Neeraj explained.

“Operation Romeo” is the official Hindi remake of Malayalam’s “Ishq” movie released in 2019 based on the fact that happened to Anuraj Manohar, who eventually directed “Ishq”.

The Hindi film “Operation Romeo”, directed by Shashant Shah, also starring – Bhumika Chawla, Kishore Kadam, Sharad Kelkar – will be released in cinemas on April 22.
