And just like that, there’s a new number one movie on Netflix, with the gripping yet divisive drama Vanished Into the Night topping the streaming movie chart after just four days on the platform.

That is, until their children go missing one night, believed to have been kidnapped by some nefarious characters. As time passes, the film develops further, forcing the couple to blame each other.
Despite taking the top spot on the streamer, the film has earned a less-than-impressive audience rating on Rotten tomatoes, which stands at 20% at the time of writing. One viewer said, “This is the worst movie I’ve ever seen,” while others were a bit more enthusiastic about the film, calling it “pretty good.”
Fans are divided Twitter, very. “This movie is worse than The Room,” he replied a spectator to Netflix’s tweet for the movie. Others applauded the film’s real themes as a fan tweeted: “If you want to see how messy a divorce can get especially when kids are involved watch Vanished into the Night on Netflix” and wrote another“End Gives Toxic Divorced Couple.”
