Exciting new details for the fifth Avengers movie have been revealed, including Marvel’s top choice for director and which cast members will likely return.
Deadline it’s mentioned that Shawn Levy he plans to direct the film amid the wait for the upcoming MCU film Deadpool & Wolverine.
It is referred that Son he has been given the latest script, but has not made a decision on whether or not to take on the project. In the meantime, Marvel Studios is meeting with other directors, likely to have backup options available.
Son ends the director’s duties Deadpool & Wolverine and is set to direct two episodes of the finale Stranger Things time.
As for the cast members, Deadline reports that “more than 60 MCU characters could reprise their roles.” The report specifically notes six cast members who will likely return as well as four stars who will not. Plot details are “unknown,” but the film will see the characters on “equal footing, making it more of an ensemble feature rather than a handful of characters leading the team.”
