Three friends search for legendary riches but end up finding much more than they bargained for in “Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain.” And as the title states, the upcoming comedy comes from writers Martin Herlihy, John Higginsand Ben Marshallotherwise known for the “Please Don’t Destroy” digital shorts on “Saturday night live“. The trio entered the late night show in 2021, with their popular shorts usually involving that week’s host and ever-bigger budgets.

Now Herlihy, Higgins and Marshall are not only writing, but also starring in a full-length film. Joins the cast of “SNL”. Bowen Young and former “SNL” writer and comedian. Conan O’Brien as Marshall’s father. Meg Stalter, X Mayo, Nicole Sakura, Cedric Yarbroughand Sunita Mani also stars.

In Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain, John Goodman tells the adventure of Ben, Martin and John, three childhood friends turned dead colleagues, who fend off hairless bears, desperate rangers (Meg Stalter and X Mayo) and a pretend cult leader (Bowen Young) in the hope of finding a priceless treasure, only to discover that finding the treasure is the easiest part of their journey. Oh, and Conan O’Brien plays Ben’s dad in it. Produced by Judd Apatow and Jimmy Millerthe film is written, executive produced and stars Martin Herlihy, John Higgins and Ben Marshall – aka Please Don’t Destroy Children – and directed Paul Briganti.
