Until I branch out and start my own podcast, I’m happy every time I get invited to another one. Invite to someone else’s podcast to talk Ghost of Paradise? I’ll do it all day. It’s one of my favorite, most formative films, and my love for it has, over the years, given back to me more than I can count.
So I was very happy to join Chris Slusarenko’s Revolutions per movie podcast (along with visual and musical Peri Sal) to rest for an hour and change Brian De Palma’s 1974 film, which in my lifetime went from box-office banger to secret handshake to sold-out adoration as a beloved canon classic.
Chris and Perry share my love of the movie, so if you want to hear people argue, this isn’t for you. But if you want to hear three dudes make love unabashedly in a forgotten glam rock horror epic, head on over here (or wherever you get your podcasts) to find out!
And if you’re a fan of the relationship between movies and music, Revolutions per movie it’s a must hear. Each week, Chris interviews guests much more exciting than me, delving into musicals, music-themed films, music documentaries and music videos. you end up learning a lot while having a lot of fun. I was a fan before I was a guest!
Thanks to Chris for picking me up. If anyone else wants to talk about this movie on their podcast, you know where to find me…
