New TV spots for Spider-Man: No Way Home have been released and show more of the upcoming Marvel movie.
In the clips, the largest of which you can watch above and the rest in this editing YouTube Playlist, we see a longer look at Spidey confronting Doc Ock in an Iron Spider costume, as well as a few closer glances at Electro – enough to see that he apparently uses Tony Stark’s Arc Reactor technology. There is also J. Jonah Jameson who reacts to Lizard (“Was that a dinosaur?”) And Happy Hogan who tries to catch Peter Parker to find out who the new bad guys are, as well as more MJ and Ned.
The new video follows another clip that revealed more of Doctor Strange and Spidey’s fight, as well as the second trailer, which finally confirmed that Peter would be facing a gallery of rogue villains returning.
While the rumored Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield were not present in the second trailer – to the shock of fans – there is a theory that Garfield’s webslinger will be the one to save MJ from falling and an alternative version of The trailer could reveal where the other two heroes were potentially edited outside of the main clip.
“What really surprises people is that this movie is not fun,” Tom Holland told our sister Total Film recently. “It’s dark and it’s sad, and it’s going to be really moving. You’re going to see characters you love going through things you would never want to go through. And I was very excited to throw that side of Peter Parker.”
Spider-Man: No Way Home hits theaters in the United States on December 17th and a little earlier in theaters in the United Kingdom on December 15th.
