Yes, you read that right. In an earlier interview with the IANS news agency, Kher revealed these trivia about the 1987 film.
On the occasion of Puri’s birthday, Kher had revealed this little-known information about the hit film. “In mainland India, the role of Mogambo was offered to me before Amris Puri. However, after a month or two, the filmmakers replaced me. “When they put you in a movie, an actor generally feels bad, but when I watched Mr. India and saw Amrishji’s work as Mogambo then, I thought the filmmakers made the right decision by putting him in their movie,” he said. was then reported by IANS.

The film ended up becoming the second highest grossing film of the year.
