This cultural experiential learning was implemented with the aim of expanding opportunities for hard-to-get cultural experiences through educational activities in schools and revitalizing cultural education, and was carried out free of charge through cultural experience projects without discrimination or alienation.

For cultural experiential learning, grade 4 students watched the “Healing Magic Show” in the school’s audiovisual room on October 17 and watched the sand animation “Always I Love You” in the Haesolgwan of the school. school on October 20. Also, on November 17, I visited Bukpohang CGV Cinema and watched a movie titled “Ainbo: Legend of the Amazon.”

Watching the magic show, learning magic directly with magic tools, curiosity was stimulated by the mysterious magic of levitation, and they had fun without stopping laughing. Watching the sand animation show, they remembered their parents’ thoughts and immersed themselves in the world of sand animation by sharing the music and wishes of “Aladdin” together.

Also, before watching the movie, they were given popcorn and cola, rode the escalator, sat in the theater, and experienced the movie theater together. To this end, they have received climbing safety training beforehand. As the film screening began, students were able to enjoy the thrill of watching the latest film more than ever in a movie theater with a large screen and comfortable recliners, and exciting laughter continued throughout the viewing. with realistic screen and sound.

Through this experience, students’ interest in the field of culture and art grew and gave them the opportunity to broaden their understanding of performing culture.

The students who participated in the activity clapped passionately even before the magic show started. The magician was very entertaining and it was nice to receive magic tools as a gift. And when I thought of my mother, I cried. “It was fun to go to the cinema with my classmates, and the popcorn and cola tasted better. The seats in the theater were comfortable and it was so much fun I wish the movie was longer.

Principal Jeong Seung-wook said, “I hope students will develop their literary sensibility through real visual experience rather than theory through a larger stage outside of school, so that they can become holistic talents with harmonious cognitive and emotional ability.”
