Starring Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar, the first Yash Raj Films historian, Prithviraj, which is based on the life and bravery of the fearless and powerful King Prithviraj Chauhan. Akshay writes the role of the legendary warrior who fought valiantly to protect India from the ruthless invader Muhammad of Ghor. Manushi plays the role of Prithviraj Sanyogita’s favorite princess and reveals that she is stuck in a sandstorm in the deserts of Rajasthan while shooting an important scene of the movie!

Part of the big screen show, Prithviraj, was shot in Jaisalmer, in the middle of the Thar Desert, where sandstorms are very common. One day, while firing, the crew had to be evacuated urgently due to a strong sandstorm, but Manushi, unfortunately, got stuck in the middle!
Manushi recounts, “I was on top of a dune and the crew had to shoot me from below. I saw them make sense to me, trying to say something but I did not hear anything. I could see them waving and shouting but the voice could not be heard and I thought they were talking about the scene. “Suddenly someone from the choreography team pushed me down, and I literally rolled down the dune and they caught me!”
He adds, “It was a little scary when the sandstorm hit us, with the trucks trembling and a blackout. They took me to my van and we were all covered! We continued shooting after a while, but it was a strong sandstorm! “
Prithviraj has been directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, best known for directing the critically acclaimed television epic Chanakya and the film Pinjar. The launch of the ethereal beautiful Manushi is definitely one of the most anticipated debuts of 2022. The film will be released on June 3 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
