Famous Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who was last seen in Tejas, unfortunately faced a setback with the release of the film. However, her upcoming project Emergency, also her second directorial venture, was eagerly awaited.
The actor-turned-politician is campaigning for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, contesting as a BJP MP candidate from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh. Meanwhile, the film’s production team made an important announcement regarding the release of ‘Emergency’.
Officially, the film’s release has been postponed, with a new date pending announcement. This decision stems from Kangana’s hectic schedule due to the elections, which did not leave enough time for promotions. Originally scheduled for November 24, 2023, the release was pushed back to June 14, 2024, but has now been pushed back once again.
This biographical political drama boasts an ensemble cast that includes Shreyas Talpade, Anupam Kher, Bhumika Chawla and others. Produced by Renu Pitti and Kangana Ranaut under the Manikarnika Films banner, the film features music by GV Prakash Kumar. Stay tuned for updates on Emergency’s new release date.
