In South cinema, Rashmika Mandanna will next be seen in Varisu Vamshi directorial Paidipally, which marks Thalapathy VijayHis first direct entry into Telugu cinema. The film, which is touted to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, is slated to hit theaters for the Pongal season of 2023. Rashmika is currently shooting for the second installment of the Pushpa franchise, which is titled Pushpa: The rule. Allu Arjun reprises the title character in the film, which will again see the actress as Pushpa’s lady love Sri Valli.

Actress Varisu’s Bollywood debut Goodbye, which featured her in a central role alongside veteran actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Neena Gupta, garnered relatively positive reviews from the audience. However, the Vikas Bahl directorial failed to do well at the box office as expected. Rashmika Mandanna is now gearing up for the release of her next Bollywood outing Mission Majnu, a romantic thriller, in early 2023. The film, starring Siddharth Malhotra, is set to be released on Netflix. The Shantanu Bhagchi directorial will have Rashmika Mandanna in the role of a visually impaired girl.

She is also playing the female lead opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the upcoming psychological thriller Animal, which is currently in production. Helmed by Arjun Reddy fame director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film also features a stellar cast including Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Triptii Dimri and others. If reports are to be believed, he is also teaming up with Tiger Shroff for an action film in 2023.
