Starring Thalapatty Vijay – Rashmika Mandanna Varisu has garnered love from across the country. The film, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, has collected 210 crores in its first week worldwide and is being touted as ‘unstoppable’ at the box office. Rashmika’s performance in the songs “Ranjitham” and “Jimikki Ponnu” topped the music charts, making consecutive headlines for the film.

Talking about the success of the film, Rashmika says “Seeing the immense love and appreciation that is pouring in Varisu it really warms my heart and makes me feel so grateful!”.

She added: “The story and narration of it is such that the moment I heard it, I was sure it would definitely connect with the family audience, which was an instant yes for me. And the icing on the cake was working with Vijay sir, which was a dream opportunity come true.”

Rashmika is eyeing a 2023 blockbuster with four films slated for release, one of them being Varisu, which was released in all languages. We will also see her inside Mission Majnu, Animal and another that is currently under wraps.

Since the beginning of her career, Rashmika has been showered with immense love from the audience for her characters like Saanvi, Geetha and most recently Srivalli from Pushpa: The Rise. The national crash will be seen next Pushpa: The ruleand Animal opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
