Reba McEntire breaks all the rules in the exciting new trailer for the upcoming Lifetime movie, The hammer, and if you thought you’d seen Reba’s ultimate perfection, you ain’t seen nothing yet!
A fast-talking, driving, swinging woman, McEntire plays Kim Wheeler – Nevada’s newest district 5 judge who has more power and fire than anyone realizes. In fact, the trailer opens with a sassy and tough Wheeler being seduced by someone who has no idea who she is.
“speed-o gets stuck at 90 so accurate reading after that is prohibitive, she says when an officer asks her if she knows how fast she was going and the rest is history.
Wheeler takes over as judge after the death of Jacob Brewer, but his death is anything but ordinary. Viewers see the moment Wheeler discovers that they now know there was nothing natural about his death.
“I may be young, but trust this – I will do my best for the truthWheeler promises in the trailer, and it’s a promise she intends to keep.
Of course, she’ll need some help, and a familiar face enters the picture as her co-star Melissa Peterman takes on the role of Kim’s sister, Kris. From petty crime to murder, Wheeler has a lot on her plate, and there’s nothing like the help of those who know you best to help you pull through.
However, the family bond between Kim and Kris will make her job more difficult this time. The official summary for the film is as follows:
“After the reigning judge dies under suspicious circumstances, Kim finds herself covering a circuit that stretches between Las Vegas and Reno – a rugged, often desolate area where anything and everything can happen. Hammer in hand, she lays down the law with a no-nonsense brand of justice that quickly earns her the nickname “The Hammer.” As the investigation into the ex-judge’s death heats up, Kim’s sister Chris (Peterman), who runs the local brothel, suddenly becomes the prime suspect, and Kim must work even harder to make sure justice is served. justice”.
With (not so) kind hands and the heart of a fighter, McEntire—sorry, Wheeler will undoubtedly make a name for herself in small-town Nevada and go all out for justice. It’s Reba’s world, and we just live in it.
The hammer slated for release in 2023 on Lifetime.
