Slam Dunk has set the release window for the big comeback movie with a new teaser poster! Fans may have noticed how many older, more classic manga series have returned for new anime projects or anniversary celebrations in recent times, and it is still a surprise to see how deep the well is in terms of what it returns. One of the coolest recent announcements was that the original creator of the Slam Dunk series, Takehiko Inoue, would finally return to the series decades after it was first completed with a new film currently scheduled for release next year.
While it was originally scheduled to be released in cinemas in Japan in 2022 when it was first announced, the official website for Hit Dunk’s movie has been released in many languages as part of the Jump Festa 2022 celebrations. This new site not only released a new visual teaser with the words “Just because I did not want to lose”, but also confirmed that the new movie is aimed at currently to be released in the fall of 2022 in Japan. Unfortunately, there are still no words for an international release, but the main site that circulates in many languages right away is a sign in a good direction.
