MANILA, Philippines — Actresses Rhian Ramos and Glaiza de Castro are set to star in a new GL movie together, almost a decade after they starred in the GL series “The Rich Man’s Daughter.”
Wide International Film Productions announced in a series of social media posts that Rhian and Glaiza have agreed to make a film together.
The deal came about during FreenBecky’s fan meeting – stars of Thailand’s first GL show “Gap: The Series” – last year at the Araneta Coliseum.
Both Rhian and Glaiza have been teased by fans to say yes to doing a film together, but Wide International has just hinted that the film will be produced by them.
Production company and director Dennis Evangelista also said that the film will be directed by Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, known for “Kita Kita”, “Walang KaParis” and “Under Parallel Skies”.
The two actors won praise for their performances in 2015’s “The Rich Man’s Daughter,” billed as one of GL’s first shows in Southeast Asia, christening their love team “RaStro.”
The show also featured Katrina Halili, Sheena Halili, Chynna Ortaleza, Pauleen Luna, Paolo Contis, Tony Mabesa and Gloria Romero.
