Richard Madden’s new movie has been given an official release date.
Killer Heat based on the short story by Jo Nesbø The Man with Jealousy which was released in 2021. The Amazon Studios adaptation will see Madden in a dual role as he plays two twin brothers.
Set on a Greek island, the film follows twins (played by Madden) who get caught up in a violent love triangle. The plot thickens when a detective known as The Jealousy Man (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is called to investigate the case.
Killer Heat to be released on September 26on Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service.

Directed by director Philippe Lacôte, the film will also star Shailene Woodley. Meantime, House of Gucci the author Roberto Bentivegna and Bridge of Spies” Matt Charman was responsible for developing the script.
Madden recently starred opposite Priyanka Chopra Jonas in the spy thriller series Acropolis.
The pair play elite agents Nadia Sinh (Chopra Jonas) and Mason Kane (Madden), who have their memories erased after the fall of their agency Citadel.

After hiding with their new life, they return to the world of espionage for a global mission. The duo navigate their secret relationship while trying to prevent the establishment of a new world order.
A second season of the show has been confirmed for 2023, with Madden and Chopra Jonas reprising their roles. Stanley Tucci and Lesley Manville will also return for Season 2.
Elsewhere, the Italian spin-off Acropolis: Diana recently revealed a first-look trailer, along with a confirmed release date.
Killer Heat will be released on September 26 on Prime Video. Acropolis is available to stream on Prime Video. Acropolis: Diana will premiere on Prime Video on October 10.
