The new movie of the superstar of South Samantha was titled Γιασόντα. The shooting of the project started on Monday with a puja ceremony. Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, who has produced films such as Aditya 369 and Sammohanam, is a producer Γιασόντα under the banner of Sridevi Movies.
Boasting that it is a modern thriller, the film will be directed by the directing duo Hari and Harish. Samantha plays a role supported by the author Γιασόντα. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Canadian, Malayalam and Hindi.
Speaking at the start of filming, Sivalenka Krishna Prasad said the team is aware that Samantha has caught the eye in India with The Head of the Family 2. With its current image, they have developed a thriller aimed at a wide section of the audience.
The shooting part of the film Γιασόντα is expected to be completed by March 2022. More details on the cast, crew and release date of the film will be confirmed shortly by the creators. Mani Sharma and M Sukumar are on the committee to handle the music and photography, respectively.
On the work front, actress Samantha has Saakundalam and Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal in her bank. He also has an international project, Provisions of Love, which will be directed by Philip John of Downton Abbey’s fame.
