With a new release date in hand, Animal director Sandeep Vanga Readdy took to social media today to reveal the real reason behind the film’s delay and also reveal its new release date.
Sandeep claimed that Animal’s release date was pushed back solely because of “quality”, citing the film’s seven songs as an example. Since Animal is releasing in five languages, Sandeep will need to create an additional 28 songs and work with different lyricists and singers to achieve the same results he did with the Hindi version. Sandeep also said that he needs time to ensure that the audience does not get the impression that they are watching a Hindi film with Tamil or Telugu subtitles.
Sandeep also thanked the fans for their positive reactions to the pre-teaser and promised that Ranbir’s action-packed persona will also come through in the film.
Last but not the least, Sandeep said that the new release date of the film is 1st December and asked the audience to watch “vishwaroop of Ranbir Kapoor” in theatres.
With this revised release date, Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur and Fukrey 3 will compete with Animal at the box office.
