Scream Star Neve Campbell “Still Questions” That Shocking Death in a new movie

The fifth Scream The film was released in theaters earlier this month and has already had a successful box office run. Unfortunately, Dewey was killed, which was a big shock to the fans and even to one of the cast. In fact, Campbell spoke recently Variety and admitted that he “still disputes” the decision to let Arquette’s character go.

“I was devastated,” Campbell said when asked about Dewey’s death. “I still find it difficult to wrap my head around it. I still question whether it was the right choice because from what I hear, there are a lot of fans who are really upset.” Asked if she had discussed the decision with Cox and Arquette, she added: “We did it. We were sorry about that. [Craven] he would do it sometimes when there were certain characters that were so beloved. ”

Arquette spoke recently Total Film magazine for Scream and discussed his working relationship with Cox, with whom he was married from 1999 to 2013. They remain involved in each other’s lives and Arquette called Cox “a great co-parent”. He went on to say that their current relationship makes everything between Gale and Dewey feel more authentic because the actors share a bond that would be impossible to build.

“I always like working with Courteney,” Arquette explained. “There’s an intangible quality to having a relationship with someone and then being able to act with them, which you kind of can’t play. It’s like the Everly Brothers singing harmonies – there’s a real beauty in a relationship that you can’t really fake.”

In addition to Campbell, Cox and Arquette, Scream will see his return Scream 4Marley Shelton as Deputy Judy Hicks. Jack Quaid is leading an extensive roster of newcomers to the film alongside Melissa Barrera, Dylan Minnette, Jenna Ortega, Mason Gooding, Kyle Gallner, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Mikey Madison.
