The recently released trailer Shehzada has created a lot of anticipation among Kartik Aaryan fans. From the hilarious comedy to the powerful action sequences, the trailer has garnered plenty of buzz. And soon after the trailer was released, the lead pair Kartik and co-star Kriti Sanon hit the road for the promotions of this masala entertainer. A day ago, the actors landed in Jalandhar, Punjab for the same and it was seen that they got a grand welcome as they arrived on the eve of Lohri.

In fact, Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon joined the group that had arrived with the dhol and danced with them to the sounds of bhangra, welcoming the festival with equal enthusiasm. This was Kartik’s first Lohri in the land of five rivers. Taking to social media, the superstar shared a video of all the festivities going on with the Shehzada mold. The fire was lit and everyone was dancing to fun Punjabi folk numbers. The actors were given phulkari dupattas to match the theme. In the caption, she wrote, “#Shehzada ki taraf se Lohri di lakh lakh vadhaiyan… My first Lohri celebration in Punjab”
Shehzada is a remake of the Telugu blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde in lead roles along with Jayaram, Tabu and Murali Sharma in supporting roles. On the other hand, the Hindi version will have Kartik Aaryan along with Kriti Sanon as well as Sachin Khedekar, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal and Ronit Roy in pivotal roles. The film is expected to be a quintessential masala film with ‘seeti maar’ dialogues with comedy, dance and action scenes. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the film is slated to release on February 10.
On the other hand, besides Shehzadaso has Kartik Satyaprem Ki Katha and Aashiqui 3 in the pipeline. He is also expected to have signed an untitled film Bajrangi Bhaijaan directed by Kabir Khan.
