The Bollywood stars of the 90’s, Suniel Shetty and Karisma Kapoor, reunited on the set of India’s Best Dancer and recreated the magic of the past era. A promo for the upcoming episode was posted on Instagram on Thursday, showing Suniel and Karisma dancing to their hit song Sundara Sundara from the 1996 film Rakshak.
The actors included the judges and the presenter of the dance reality show: Malaika Arora, Geeta Kapur, Terence Lawrence and Maniesh Paul. The troupe was led by Karisma and Suniel who performed the hook step of the song sung by Vinod Rathod and Sapna Mukherjee.
Sharing the Instagram Reel, Sony TV refers to the caption, “Humare judges, presenter, Suniel Shetty aur Karishma Kapoor ko ek saath dance karte dekh kar aap sab bolenge Sundara Sundara. (Seeing our judges, the host, and Suniel and Karisma dancing together, you will say Sundara Sundara too).
Commenting on Reel, Malaika wrote: “What fun.” One of the fans praised Karisma and Suniel in the comments that read: “Both actresses look more beautiful now”, while Karisma fans expressed their love for her in the comments. One user wrote, “I love you, my lady, charisma.” Another Bollywood fan commented: “Karisma and Suniel are the best.”
Speaking of Bollywood nostalgia, Karisma recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of Raja Hindustani’s successful film. The actress shared a montage of her shots from the film starring Aamir Khan and Archana Puran Singh, among others. Karisma had also written a heartfelt note to commemorate the anniversary as she wrote: “I leave you in a secret, ‘Aaye ho meri zindagi mein’ is one of my personal favorite songs of my career. As a young girl, performing this song made me feel like a train of emotions. Speaking of love and sacrifice, the lyrics are so beautiful, so moving. It will always be close to my heart. Celebrating 25 years of Raja Hindustani. “
