BATMAN SPOILERS IN FRONT
Barry Keoghan broke his silence after being revealed as the mystery prisoner at the end of the latest Batman movie. The character was previously credited as the Unseen Arkham Prisoner in the film, starring Robert Pattinson as the superhero title and Paul Dano as the evil Riddler. However, Batman director Matt Reeves later shared that the inmate who spoke to Ridler at the end of the film was a popular Batman favorite villain, as many had previously thought. Matt confirmed that the character was indeed the Joker, who appears only in one scene. Barry has now spoken of his role as the crime clown prince. He also talked about shooting another scene for the film that did not reach the final.
In an interview with Esquire Middle East8, when Barry was asked to comment on Matt Reeves as the director, “He’m brilliant, man. Both Matt Reeves and Dylan Clark in particular and together were amazing to me – really, really amazing to me. And , you know, becoming part of the Batman universe is [a huge deal for me]. I’m a fan of these movies, and especially of the Batman universe. So to be in this world, I still pinch myself. He is a director that I also admire a lot. And to walk beside him and see how he works, and looking a lot like Chloe Zhao, how comfortable he makes you on the set and gives you the time you need and what you want. I am in such a blessed position. “
Barry also talked about working with Paul Dano on stage, which shows Paul’s Riddler rocking in his cell after a failed mass murder attempt. Barry’s Joker, whose face is only partially visible, can be heard consoling Ridler, Barry said of Paul, “Paul is – I’m a huge fan of Paul. “People say Prisoners and the like. Do people say we’re a bit like us, and me?”
It remains to be seen if the Barry Joker version will return to Batman’s world. Matt had previously made it clear that the scene does not mean that the actor will appear as the Joker in other Batman films. Matt had told Variety, “This is not an Easter egg scene. It’s not one of those Marvel or DC scenes he goes to, like “Hi, here’s the next movie!” In fact, I have no idea when or if we would return to this character in the movies. ” The Joker has previously starred in Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger, Jared Leto and Joaquin Phoenix in various films.
Batman has collected ₹22 crore at the Indian box office in the first weekend after its release on March 4. This is the first time Robert Pattinson has played Batman, a role he has previously played in films by Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, Christian Bale and Ben Affleck.
