If you’re like me, then you can’t just pick one streaming output — you need them all. And with so many subscriptions, deciding what to watch each weekend can be… daunting.

Triangle of Tribulation – Hulu
Without a doubt, the most exciting new selection this weekend is Triangle of Sorrow. Thanks to Hulu, this Oscar-nominated film has now become one of the few Best Picture nominees available to streaming subscribers. The film focuses on a couple who are invited on a luxury cruise filled with very rich people who are out of touch with society.
Chris Rock: Selective Outrage – Netflix
Netflix has been dabbling in some experimental ideas recently, like games and interactive TV shows. But this weekend marks a new first: Netflix’s first stab at a live stand-up special. And of course, they’ve tapped the biggest name in stand-up: Chris Rock. You don’t want to miss this one.
Daisy Jones & The Six (Season 1) – Amazon Prime
If you’re a fan of music biopics, then this Amazon series is for you. Beware, this is not real history, as the history of the band Daisy Jones & The Six is pure fiction. But the trailer hints at all the drama you’d expect from a musical troupe story. The show is based on the best-selling book by Taylor Jenkins Reid.
House Party – HBO Max
House party is a classic 90s comedy. And given all the nostalgic remakes happening these days, updating this beloved gem was inevitable. The film stars Jacob Latimore and DC Young Fly, but also promises appearances by LeBron James, Scott Mescudi (aka Kid Cudi) and Snoop Dogg.
Waco: The Aftermath (Season 1) – Paramount+
If there’s anyone in Hollywood who can always be counted on for a great performance, it’s Michael Shannon. He worked with other great actors like Giovanni Ribisi and Gary Cole, this sequel Waco The miniseries explores the tragic events of the Waco siege at Mount Carmel.
Jurassic World – Peacock
Of course, there are always plenty of new movies and shows to choose from every weekend. Sometimes, though, you just want to kick back with something familiar. The biggest selection in this section this weekend is Jurassic World. The update to Jurassic Park The franchise follows the luxury Jurassic World resort as things spiral out of control with the park’s genetically engineered dinosaurs.
