The favorite star of Fast & Furious believes that they will return for a new movie

by Stewart Cole

It was a huge day for the next chapter The Fast Saga as Vin Diesel confirmed the title for the tenth, which is Fast X, along with cast members who confirmed they would be coming out of the studio. Although Universal announced that many favorite franchises would return for the new film, they did not announce that everyone in the family would return. Among those missing from the list was actress Helen Mirren, whose character Magdalene “Queenie” Shaw has now appeared in the three most recent entries in the series, who said she still believes she will return.

“Oh, I hope so. Oh my God, yes, I hope so,” Mirren said TheWrap with a laugh when asked if we would see her in the upcoming movie. “I think you really will.” The Oscar winner made her debut in the franchise The Fate of the Furious, the eighth film in the series, starring Jason Statham’s mother Deckard Shaw and Luke Evans Owen Shaw. She would repeat her role in Hobbs & Shaw spinoff movie and last year F9. By the end of this film, however, she has largely allied herself with Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto, seemingly making her less evil in the series as she progresses.

Miren previously narrated to The Hollywood Reporter how he ended up in the series, saying he begged Diesel for a place. “I did not ask – please!” shared by Mirren. “I think I was at an event, and he was there, and I met him. And I was shy: ‘My God, I just want to be in one of your movies!’ Please let me be in it. “‘And then Vin, in that beautiful, deep voice, said,’ I’ll see what I can do. ‘And he did it for me. He found this wonderful little role for me. “It’s perfect. I just did not do it again – one of those big, big movies. And, in my vanity, I just loved driving and I really wanted to do my own fast car.”

In addition to the confirmed cast members for Fast X with Diesel who have been confirmed to be returning Jordana Brewster (Mia Toretto), Tyrese Gibson (Roman), Michelle Rodriguez (Letty), Chris “Ludacris” Bridges (Tej), Nathalie Emmanuel ( Ramsey), Sung Kang (Han) and Charlize Theron (villain Cipher).

From five times Quickly directed by Universal’s Justin Lynn Fast X games in cinemas on May 19, 2023.
