When it comes to the kaiju universe, Godzilla and the other MonsterVerse titans are just the tip of the iceberg, as fans of giant monsters have seen many beasts emerge from some unexpected places in the realm of television and cinema. Now, Netflix is once again introducing a brand new kaiju cult giant to the media with a new family-friendly CG animated film set to hit the streaming service this summer on The Sea Beast.
Although this movie will not introduce a monster to MonsterVerse, Netflix is currently working on a new animated series that will focus on none other than King Kong at Kong: Skull Island. The Sea BeasT is going to come to life on the same animated medium through the creative team responsible for Disney Moana and Big Hero 6, promising to take viewers into a world where a young girl sees a new friendship with a tsaboukades ship. in the face of a giant monster chasing the seas.
The official trailer for The Sea Monster was released from Netflix’s Official Twitter Account, giving us a glimpse into the voyage movie that will see a monster bigger than life emerge from the depths to challenge a swashbucklers boat using some dynamic animation for the feature film:

Netflix has released an official description for the upcoming CG animated film, as well as a dip in some of the big names that will help you bring this marine adventure to streaming service this summer:
