Piracy seems to be a major concern for filmmakers. Now, the latest movie to leak to the internet is Venkatesh starring Meena, Nadhiya, Drushyam 2. The movie was released today on Amazon prime and has already reached some online platforms such as Tamilrockers and Telegram.
Many other movies like Kurup, Annaatthe, Sooryavanshi, Bell Bottom, Bhuj, Shershaah, Mimi, Toofan, Ray, Grahan, Fast & Furious 9 Hindi, Sherni, Loki, The Family Man 2, Sardar Ka Grandson, Mumbai Saga, Jathi Ratnalu, Sreekaram, The Priest, Roohi, Bombay Begums, Lahore Confidential, Pudhu Kaalai, Sufiyum Sujatayum and AK vs AK have leaked to the internet. According to reports, even if such platforms are banned, they reappear with a different domain. We urge users to refrain from any kind of piracy.
Speaking of Drushyam 2, it is a sequel to the 2014 film Drushyam. Directed by Jeethu Joseph and produced by D. Suresh Babu, Rajkumar Sethupathy and Antony Perumbavoor of Suresh Productions, Rajkumar Theaters and Max Movies.
In an interview with IANS, when asked about his relationship with thrillers, Jeetu said: “I’ve done comedies, I’ve done family dramas, but people point to me as a thriller director. He just clicked. I have to admit I have a inclination towards the genre of thriller, but as a cinematographer I want to make all kinds of films “.
He had added that maybe because he has made 2 thrillers back-to-back, people started expecting only thrillers from him. He had noticed that even the producers were expecting thrillers at the end of the post from him.
