If you’s watching your home – something millions of Americans are likely to do – you know it Spider-Man: No Way Home is finally ready to be released next week. Despite the few days that have passed since the release of the long-awaited trickle, new murmurs on the internet suggest that Sony may be preparing to release a third trailer for the film. That’s right: just days before the film’s release, a third trailer — potentially more revealing than ever — could be released on the Internet.
The references have their roots in a new entry from BBFC, or British Board of Film Certification. According to the film’s evaluation team, a third trailer has been approved by officials for release on December 15th. This is the day the film will be released in the United Kingdom and two days before the film is released in the United States.
The release of a new trailer after some fans saw the feature is a bold move and could have some serious consequences for a movie like There is no way home. With leaks and rumors of certain characters appearing on every corner of social media, one would think that Sony is using the third trailer to finally make the revelations it wants.
Given that the film would already be available in theaters in the UK, it probably means that Sony is trying to use the trailer to promote the film to non-fans or casual viewers who may be interested in learning it, say Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire. is finally in the movie.
If released in the UK, however, it is incredibly likely that some versions of the clip marketing will hit the internet, hurting those in the United States who could not yet see it.
