Bollywood King Khan, also known as Shah Rukh Khan, the upcoming Pathaan movie with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham is one of the most anticipated movies of 2023. After being released last year in 2018 (Zero), the king of B -town is now ready to spread its magic once again.

However, with SRK fans excited about his upcoming film, a viral video claims that Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath is urging people to boycott watching the actor’s upcoming film. Read on to find out if this claim is true or a hoax.

Recently a video went viral on the internet where UP CM Yogi Adityanath asked people to boycott Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathaan. In the video, we hear Yogi say in Hindi, “Some so-called left-wing artists and writers have started making anti-ethnic statements. Unfortunately, Shah Rukh Khan is one of them. It’s not the first time. He has behaved in this way in the past as well. ” He added: “Shah Rukh Khan should remember that if the majority community boycotts his films, he should roam the streets like an ordinary Muslim.” Apart from that, he went on to compare the actor with the mastermind of the Bombay attack, Hafiz Saeed.

Recently, according to the India Today Anti Fake News War Room (AFWA), the allegations in the video are misleading. According to them, the video, which is now viral on the platform, is about seven years old and has nothing to do with Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film Pathaan. What makes this reference certain is that the video is beginning to identify Yogi Adityanath as the “Leader, BJP” and not as the Prime Minister of Uttar Pradesh, which proves that the video is old. The video clips and notes are from November 3, 2015 (according to the BCC report), where Shah Rook had made a statement saying: “There is intolerance, there is extreme intolerance, I think there is growing intolerance.”

It was in this comment that CM Yogi Adityanath shared his thoughts on the boycott of Shah Rukh Khan and his films, and even asked him to go to Pakistan as he compared the actor to Hafiz Saeed. Finally, the conclusion is that the video was old Adityanath material and never targeted SRK Pathaan
