The month of November saw Karthik Subbaraj’s Jigarthanda DoubleX conflict with that of Kartha Japan at the tills, during the festive season of Diwali. While Jigarthanda DoubleX open to positive reviews, Japan did not receive much praise. Tamil lovers are in for a treat this December as Nayanathara’s film Annapoorani will hit the screens this month. Annapoorani – The Goddess of Food

Directed by debutant Nilesh Krishnaa, Annapoorani is Nayanathara’s 75th film in her career. The film will see her reuniting with Jai, who starred alongside her in Atlee’s Raja Rani. The film is said to narrate the story of a girl from an orthodox Brahmin family who aspires to become a chef. The film is produced by Zee Studios and Trident Arts.

Parkingthe upcoming Tamil film starring actor Harish Kalyan in the lead role is scheduled to release on 1st December. Directed by Ramkumar Balakrishnan and supported by Passion Studios and Soldier’s Factory, Parking it is said to be a thriller drama. The film also stars Indhuja Ravichandran, MS Bhaskar, Prathana Nathan, Rama Rajendra and Ilavarasu in pivotal roles.

Va Varalam Va

Balaji Murugadoss, who rose to prominence with Bigg Boss Tamil Season 6is set to play the lead Va Varalam Va. Directed by LG Ravichandran, the film also stars Reddin Kingsley, Savaranan Subbiah and Mime Gopi in the lead roles. Before his tenure with big bossBalaji was a supermodel, who won the title of Rubaru Mister International India 2018.
