During an interview, while promoting his latest film Vendhu Thinidhathu Kaadu, Silambarasan TR said that he and its director Gautham Menon tried to break the mold of the film they made to impress the audience.
It is his third film with the same director and will be released in theaters on September 15. Just a year ago, Simbu gave a big movie Maanaadu. And in his third film, the actor-director combination did not opt for another love story as they wanted to give something else to the audience.
