Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming film Liger which is days away from being released on the big screen. It marks its first pan-India launch. The film also stars Ananya Panday and Ramya Krishnan in pivotal roles. As the actor gets ready Liger, has somewhat confirmed a potential sequel. Speaking to a media portal, the actor said that Liger it will probably have a sequel, but he refused to divulge details about the same.
Vijay Deverakonda confirms that Liger will likely have a sequel
In collaboration with Puri connects, the film is jointly produced by Dharma Productions. Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta together are bankrolling the film on a grand scale. Vishnu Sarma is the cinematographer while Kecha from Thailand is the stunt director.
Liger will see South actor Vijay Deverakonda playing the role of an underdog boxer who makes his way to international fame. The film will also feature a cameo by former American professional boxer Mike Tyson. Shot in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, the film is slated to hit theaters worldwide on August 25, 2022.
