Vijay Deverakonda seems to be winning the hearts of not only fans across the country but also the media. The actor is currently traveling across India to promote his upcoming film Liger and like many other actors, Vijay couldn’t stop himself from exploring the local cuisine. The South star decided to try the quintessential thali in the state and needless to say, the happiness on his face was priceless.

Many actors, who visit Gujarat, have often tried the authentic and traditional Gujarati Thali which includes more than 20 dishes. What Vijay Deverakonda was seen trying included around 17 types of curries, dals and vegetable dishes along with four varieties of sweets including gulab jamun. It also included rice, chapatti, poori and some of their famous snacks like khaman and patra. The actor posted a picture of himself sitting in front of the Thaali on Instagram and captioned it saying, “The lovely Gujarati Thaaliii! ????”
Apparently, the post received a lot of heart emojis from his female fans. While some were curious to know how he liked the thali, some others appreciated Gujarati cuisine. On the other hand, before this, Vijay also shared another video which was a sneak peek of the happenings of his promotions in Bihar for his film.
Vijay Deverakonda will be making his Bollywood debut Liger, which also stars Ananya Panday. While it is being directed by famous South director Puri Jagannadh, it is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The film, which will also feature American boxing legend Mike Tyson in a pivotal role, is set to release on August 25 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
