Continuing his cinematic journey, Vikrant Massey is all set to dazzle the audience in the much awaited 12th Failure, directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The character was quite challenging and different for the actor compared to what he has played in the past, and to get into his skin, he went through a lot of preparation.
Sharing his experience about the preparations, Vikrant Massey said, “I actually visited Mukherjee Nagar and other areas adjacent to it. I also went incognito and moved around, interacting with the people there. It wasn’t just about living in those places. and watching the students from afar, a lot of my preparation was also focused on making sure I got my Chambal dialect just right.”
Speaking further on the same, Vikrant Massey said, “I also wanted to stay in the apartments where the students stay during their preparation months, but unfortunately that couldn’t happen. But having the actual students with us was such a great experience . The students you see in the film are not junior artists, they are real students preparing for the UPSC exam. They didn’t just help us understand their world better, but contributed in many ways beyond that. more authenticity to the story, and you will see it when you watch the movie. I am really excited that the movie will be released soon.”
Since the 12th Failure With Vikrant Massey in the real life character, the actor has attended several preparations and training sessions in Delhi. It enriched the actor’s experience and helped him bring an authentic factor to the film.
12th Failure directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra is scheduled to release worldwide on October 27 in theaters and is bankrolled by Zee Studios and Vidhu Vinod Chopra Films.
