Ahead of Dussehra, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri has announced his next film ‘Parva’. The movie will be based on a Book named Parva written by SL Bhyrappa. It will be a 3 part big franchise. The director who made the announcement in Bangalore introduced the film crew to the audience as well.
Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, producer and actor Pallavi Joshi, co-writer Prakash Belawadi and author of the novel Parva SL Bhyrappa were present at the event.
VIVEK ANGNICHOTRI ANNOUNCES “PARVA”
Known for his blockbuster films like The Tashkent Files and The Kashmir Files, director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri is all set to unveil his upcoming magnum opus, titled ‘Parva’. The director made the announcement at a press conference in Bangalore and said, “We at I am Buddha Production are grateful to the almighty to present Padma Bhushan Dr. SL Bhyrappa’s ‘modern classic’: PARVA – AN EPIC TALE OF DHARMA.”
In his post on X, Agnihotri even mentioned why PARVA is called “Masterpiece of masterpieces”.
Speaking on the matter, Vive’s wife and actress Pallavi Joshi said, “It’s a great honor to be sitting next to the living legend, SL Bhyrappa, I never dreamed of it today and I’m happy to be doing ‘Parva’ in a film. I want to understand the mammoth responsibility we have on our shoulders. It is not easy to handle a subject like Parva, to handle the author’s vision. Do you know a journey of self-discovery in our films? Parva as a movie which will be made in 3 parts but he will also make this movie in two languages Kannada and English. It’s great to have our friend Prakash Belawadi as a co-writer for our project.”
ALL FOR ‘PARVA’
Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s ‘Parva’ will be based on a book named Parva written by SL Bhyrappa in Kannada language. It is a retelling of the Sanskrit epic Mahabharata told through the personal thoughts of the main characters. The novel is widely praised and recognized as a modern classic.
